Our Service is designed to function almost entirely on your device, minimizing any data transmission.

Data That Stays On Your Device (No PHI Collected)

Pedi Calc is a standalone, offline-first utility. Any and all information you enter for calculation purposes, including but not limited to:

• Patient age, weight, or height
• Drug dosages or calculations
• Equipment sizes
• Any data saved to "Recents" or "Favorites"

...is processed exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or shared with any third party. It remains in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet until you clear it or uninstall the app.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any PII to use the Service. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise geographic location.

Anonymous Analytics Data

To help us improve the Service, we use third-party analytics tools to monitor and analyze app usage. This helps us understand which features are most popular, identify and fix app crashes, and make informed decisions about future updates.

Google Analytics for Firebase

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated data. This data is not linked to you personally and does not include any PHI. The information collected may include:

• On Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > and select "Delete advertising ID".

Please note that you may still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests.

Data Security

The security of your data is a priority. Since all sensitive PHI remains on your device, the primary security measure is the physical and digital security of your device itself (e.g., using a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID).

For the anonymous analytics and ad-related data that is transmitted, we and our partners (like Google) use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Pedi Calc is a medical calculator intended for use by trained medical professionals and/or adult caregivers. This Service is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data (which should not be possible through the app), please contact us. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected Personal Data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information from our records.
